EconSys, a federal human resources (HR) software provider is pleased to announce that the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) has been awarded a $1.6 million contract to provide EconSys’ FedHR Navigator full functionality, including Federal Hiring Management (FHM), Performance Management, Awards, Employee and Labor Relations (ER/LR), and Separation Management modules. The contract also includes providing support services such as Federal hiring outreach support, retirement and benefits record processing support, online employee surveys, data connectivity and customized reports. NPPD is a component within the US Department of Homeland Security, whose goal is to advance the Department’s risk-reduction mission. NPPD’s vision is a safe, secure, and resilient infrastructure where the American way of life can thrive. FedHR Navigator, the latest innovation in Federal HR software from EconSys, is an enterprise system that supports all Federal HR functions, including workforce planning, position management and classification, recruitment/hiring, on-boarding, benefits, performance management, awards, training requests, employee/labor relations, and retirement/separation actions. Managers, employees, and HR experts now have the tools needed to automate the entire business—from Hire to Retire.
This new functionality will provide the NPPD with the capability to quickly process, manage, and document all steps associated with its hiring actions. The FHM module, designed specifically for the Federal government, is fully integrated with the PD+ Classification module and also has full integration with the OPM’s USAJOBS. Additionally, the new functionality will provide NPPD the tools to manage and track all aspects of the human resources domain, including performance, awards, employee/labor relations, training requests and separations. Coupled with the existing functionality of PD+ Classification, On-boarding, and Retirement/Benefits, the NPPD will deploy a single solution for all HR functions.
